  • Abstract
The influence of the active-element nonlinear susceptance on the dynamical performances of injection-synchronized oscillator (150) amplifiers is investigated. The computer-aided analysis procedure employed is based on a single-harmonic stroboscopic approach with high computational efficiency, which makes it suitable for CAD, (computer-aided-design) applications. The simulation carried out demonstrated the noticeable impact of the phenomena considered on the optimal design of high-speed BPSK (binary phase shift keying)-modulated amplifiers. The active-diode nonlinear susceptance is found to have a marked effect on both the phase and the amplitude dynamics of the output voltage
