Abstract
WAX ActiveLibrary/sup TM/ is a knowledge management system that seeks to support doctors´ decision making through the provision of electronic books containing a wide range of clinical knowledge and locally based information. WAX has been piloted in two regions in the United Kingdom. The evaluation of the system has been designed to provide results that could be used for informed future development rather than to measure clinical outcomes.
