Abstract :
Due to easy availability of documents over the web, plagiarism has become serious problem to teachers, researchers and publishers. In this paper, we discuss about the plagiarism process, types and detection methodologies. Further, we have classified the different plagiarism detection techniques based on Lexical and Semantic Approach. Finally we present the brief study of the different tools (offline and online) available for detecting plagiarism.
