Abstract :
The prime concern in any country is corruption in governance and lack of transparency particularly in and among government agencies or related offices and in decisions taken by them. The consequence of this is that the poor is getting poorer, and the rich is getting richer, thus, deepening the ever-increasing gap between the two The irony is that the corrupt people keep their own interests above the country´s interests, thus severely hampering the growth of economy of the nation to such an extent that the statement “our nation is on the verge of paralysis”, will not be an act of exaggeration but a bitter truth. This paper proposes an agent-based simulation tool using fuzzy to understand under what circumstances a simple model of the Lokpal agency will be effective and to evaluate the severity of corruption in various environments like Lokpal, without Lokpal and corrupt Lokpal by involving certain metrics.
