Abstract :
Surface EMG measurements were obtained during flexion-extension of the arm under different loading conditions. The fractal dimension of the surface EMG signals was then calculated. Preliminary results of the study showed that the fractal dimension of the surface EMG increased with increasing load. There was a good correlation between the fractal dimension and the load on the arm
