Abstract :
Technology acceptance studies in education area has been going on for quite some time but the usage of technology in education has not reached the expected level yet. This study critically reviews 37 journal articles on acceptance of technology in education domain. The purpose of this study is to find out the research trends so as to reveal the shortcomings and future research areas in this field. The study revealed that a disproportionate research has been carried out with more focus on e-learning and almost no attention on e-assessment. It also uncovered that less research has been carried out on teachers as compared to students.
