Abstract :
Identifying the tools and activities business students find most useful for learning in the digital classroom is one of the challenges faculty struggle with when trying to create a learner centered environment. There are different perceptions about the appropriate use of traditional and virtual classroom technologies within each group of learners, creating a different interaction with the learning. This research was carried out as part of ongoing preparation and review of technology enhanced learning in the classroom in accordance with the Balanced Decision Planning Model for technology adaptation (Humby, 2009; 2012) and best practices for online learning (Bolstad, 2009). Fellow teachers/trainers/educators may be most interested process suggested by this research and the view that faculty, are really more classroom leaders than classroom managers (Kowch, 2013). It is about changing the learning environment, creating the right mix of teaching tools and methods to appeal to the distinct group of learners and change is a function of leadership.
