Abstract :
Proposes a four-dimensional autonomous hyperchaos generator whose nonlinear element is only one diode. The circuit is analyzed by replacing the diode with an ideal switch. This simplification makes it possible to formulate the two-dimensional return map rigorously, and its Lyapunov exponents confirm that the circuit exhibits hyperchaos. Also, the simplification is discussed from mathematical points of view and it is proved that the finite-time solution of the original system converges to that of the simplified system
