Abstract :
A very efficient and simple formulation for analyzing coupled cavity waveguides in a two-dimensional metallic electromagnetic crystal has been proposed. This method is a combination of lattice sums´ matrices, a T-matrix of an isolated cylinder, and generalized reflection matrices. The numerical examples show the convergence is very fast and the computing accuracy is very high. The guided modes of several coupled cavity waveguides of metallic electromagnetic crystal have been discussed. The validity and usefulness have been confirmed by considerable numerical experiments.
