  • Abstract
    In this paper an effect of bandwidth suppression in photonic structure is described and illustrated by different ferrites as a ldquodefectrdquo plate. The theoretical explanation and analysis are given. The frequency shift of bandwidth of a photonic structure is shown. Possible applications of such structures are suggested.
