Abstract :
The authors present the most appealing features of FILTROS, a software package to aid in the teaching of filter design. This approach starts by giving specifications and proceeds by the selection of a magnitude characteristic, the evaluation of poles and zeros, the plotting of magnitude and phase, and the selection of an active-RC topology. There is the option of perturbation for poles and zeros to see the changes in magnitude and phase. There is also the option of inputting poles and zeros for a previously obtained transfer function
