Abstract :
The results of investigations of an electrostatic sprayer (ESL) of dielectric liquid with a corona electrode installed inside the ESL body are presented in this paper. In the designed electrostatic sprayer it is possible to charge not only aerosol drops but also the sprayed liquid film. The influence of ESL nozzle geometry on the process of liquid spraying is studied. The probability of the influence of aerosol jet volume charge on electrostatic sprayer efficiency is investigated on the basis of numerical modeling of electric field intensity distribution in the outlet ESL zone
