Abstract :
The R&D of silicon micro-strip detectors for CMS able to survive a radiation environment with fluxes above 1014 particles per cm2 has started since few years. Micro-strip detectors have been studied before and after irradiation performed with different sources and doses. The analysis of the experimental data helps to optimise the design of detectors which can be operated efficiently during LHC lifetime
