Abstract
A newly designed frequency-variable emitter coupled logic (ECL) phase locked loop (PLL) circuit is presented. This circuit utilizes a minimum number of chips and provides a high degree of accuracy. This PLL circuit offers an ECL-level adjustable output signal frequency range of 50-100 MHz for an input signal frequency range of 5-100 MHz. It can be used in frequency multipliers, frequency synthesizers, and digital transmission systems
