Abstract :
Inverted pendulum system is a typical nonlinear and unstable controlled object. Therefore, how to control it effectively is a typical problem in the control theory. At first, the introduction of the operating principle of fuzzy control system is given. The method of fuzzy control is be applied in the single-inverted pendulum. It specifies the design of a fuzzy controller and the discussion is given to initiate a fuzzy rule governing the fuzzy control of single-inverted pendulum. The results of simulating experiments reveal that the fuzzy rules are correct and feasible.
