Abstract :
We report successful development of a working prototype model of a circular patch liquid microstrip antenna using mercury as the radiating patch. This antenna has been designed and developed at 8.362 GHz. In-depth experimental investigations were carried out to study the antenna characteristics, namely radiation pattern, VSWR and bandwidth. The results of the experimental investigations were encouraging.
