Abstract :
This paper shows how sophisticated modeling techniques allow the efficient design and optimization of optical links that support the transport of broadband services in wireless networks. Application examples studying various technologies are presented to demonstrate the value of photonic design automation during the design and development stages of network roll-outs and upgrades
