Abstract
In this paper an investigation of the Doubly-Fed Induction Generator´s start-up procedure, using zero crossing method for the grid voltage´s angle´s calculation, is carried out in the environment of Matlab/ Simulink. Moreover, the significance of the phase displacement and the amplitude deviation of the stator voltage in the system´s synchronization procedure is highlighted via simulation.
