Abstract
Extraction of topographic digital elevation model (DEM) by interferometric data requires recovering of interferometric phase value from its principal value (measured). This is carried out by phase unwrapping algorithms. The author proposes an iterative weighted least square phase unwrapping, where weights are estimated directly from input interferometric phase. Some simulations have shown that they can adequately locate critical areas in the input interferogram
