Abstract :
There exist lots of complex multiple attribute decision problems in our daily life including in the commercial area. In order to effectively solve these problems, grey theory containing grey relational analysis (GRA) and grey multiple decision making (GMDM) is introduced and put into practice. In this paper, to begin with, the procedures for GRA and GMDM are introduced. Then, a multiple attribute decision problem of evaluation for four e-commerce websites is provided to show how to solve the multiple attribute decision problems through GRA and GMDM. In the final section of this paper, the comparison is performed among the calculated results for this problem based on GRA, GMDM and another method. The empirical study results show that GRA method and GMDM method are effective methods for multiple attribute decision problems.
