Abstract
Gardner et al. have researched the application of cyclostationarity for direction finding only in uniform linear array (ULA). Here, a new method of direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation using beamspace cyclic-MUSIC with uniform circular array (UCA) is developed in tins paper. It allows to select the desired signals and to suppress interference and noise by exploiting cyclostationarity. Comparison is made with conventional MUSIC and element space cyclic-MUSIC algorithms. Computer simulations show that the computing efficiency is significantly improved and high resolution is maintained when interference and noise are present.
