Abstract
The inadequate infrastructure makes healthcare resources unbalance between rural and city. The telemedicine might be a solution. Patient´s information sharing is the prerequisite in telemedicine, and the medical image communication is another critical issue. DICOM is one of the most popular medical image standards. In rural clinics, the ultrasonography is well seen for its non-radical, but usually is early models, which is not DICOM compatible. This situation obstructs the sharing of ultrasonography, and prevents the implement of telemedicine. This research developed a telemedicine counselling structure, which integrated the ultrasonography into modern DICOM system.
