Abstract :
In this paper, we discuss a multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) relay system with direct link based on ordered Tomlinson-Harashima precoding (THP). THP with fairness-guaranteed power loading is applied with both zero-forcing (ZF) and minimum mean square error (MMSE) criteria. The direct and relay links are combined to obtain the diversity gain. The maximum ratio combining (MRC) weights are derived. Applying the modified V-BLAST ordering algorithm to choose the best order of interference pre-elimination, the proposed scheme can improve the average bit error ratio (BER) performance.
