Abstract
The evaluation of trap oil-bearing property is the key to the oil and gas development. Reasonable and correct evaluation of trap is the guarantee of high production and efficiency of oil and gas development. This paper suggested that an evaluation for oil gas trap is a process of grey system, and established a grey system model of trap evaluation using quantization parameters evaluation for trap geological situation. According to the system response of the model, through division of oil-bearing property levels on 19 traps in the shuntuoguole area of northwest China, 7 beneficial traps of oil-bearing property were obtained, which were in accord with practical development. This paper made a comparative analysis of conventional methods of trap evaluation. Through comparative analysis of theories, methods and application examples, this paper drew a conclusion that grey method has a good ability on trap evaluation.
