Abstract :
This paper presents the procedure to design waveguide limiters with low spike leakage and the ability to handle high peak power. Genetic algorithm (GA) has been employed to synthesize an X-band three-stage PIN diodes limiter covering the frequency range of 9.45-9.75GHz. Experimental results have verified the validity of waveguide limiter design using GA.
