Abstract
Synthesis of quasi-orthogonal ternary sequences (QOTS) with the specified period and peak-factor values on the basis of power residue classes over GF (p) is presented. The distinctive features of the suggested methodology are: · synthesis is performed by a directed search considering necessary existence conditions of QOTS with the defined parameters; · high-speed performance of the synthesis algorithm and PC application is provided due to reduction of the search area by the strict necessary existence conditions of QOTS and due to the fact that calculation operands are cyclotomic numbers; · the result of the synthesis is global QOTS set with the defined parameters and constructing method; · the methodology guarantees easy implementation of engineering calculations on PC of average performance when designing modern radio systems with pseudo-noise signals.
