Abstract
The researches show that fin stabilizers is useful to improve stability of the SWATH ship. Besides that, it also is an excellent device to reduce heave and pitch motions of the SWATH ship, if it is driven by power. The Single Nerve Cell Controller is widely applied in many systems. Considering it is only useful to SISO system. In the paper, surrounding the Single Nerve Cell Controller, it is extended to Nerve Cells Net Controller, which can be applied to control MIMO system. After that, the controller is used to act as controller of fin stabilizers of SWATH ship. At last, the simulation at designed sea conditions is done, and the result show that the Nerve Cells Net Controller is useful to reduce heave and pitch motions of a SWATH ship.
