Abstract :
Exact analytic solutions are developed for the probability of bit error for a quadrature amplitude modulated signal when the signal is transmitted over a slow, flat Ricean fading channel. New analytic techniques are used for increased accuracy and, where applicable, are compared to the usual approximations
