Abstract :
I discuss the possible design of side pumped high power fiber lasers. The great advantage of fiber optics is that it can confine the laser power inside the core even if I make various kinds of shape. I do not worry about the propagation loss in these geometries. The loss factor of fiber lasers depends on the doping concentration
