  • Abstract
    Critical equipments mainly maintain critical production processes in the production system, deciding the production cycle and product quality directly, always the bottleneck of the production system. So we should set up a certain buffer to make the critical equipments work continually to avoid the output loss of the whole system even if the pre-processing is interrupted. This article takes the popular multi-models production as the research object, concerning the features of multi-models production and setting the mathematical models to solve the optimal time buffer. Besides concerning the production system structural, this paper researches production system parameters of series system, parallel system and hybrid system. At last, the authors use the example of production line to illustrate the model and algorithm.
