Abstract :
This paper is concerned with knowledge-based processing technique in high-frequency over the horizon radar (OTHR) to improve radar performance. Knowledge-based processing technique is proposed to increase target detection probability, reduce false alarm in heavy clutter, correct target measurement error and assess battlefield situation. Compared with conventional processing, KB technique really offers the promise of significantly improved performance of OTHR system.
