Abstract
An alternating-phase fed waveguide array with linear slot arrangement for grating lobe suppression is proposed. An analysis model for estimating the slot coupling is introduced and the S-parameters are obtained by simulation. It is confirmed that the unit slot model using inductive walls realizes enough slot coupling for array design and suppresses the reflection from the slot. Design of the array is left for future study.
