Abstract :
The various propagation paths encountered in the process of transfer of signals from transmitter to receiver are described. The suitability of using a knowledge engineering approach for propagation studies in the framework of EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) analysis is pointed out. Three case studies using the knowledge engineering approach are examined, and their Prolog implementation is presented
