Abstract
Proposes the selection method of a good initial controller for a numerical search in the critical control system design. The initial controller is chosen so that the closed-loop system is equal or similar to the pre-given target system with an appropriate input-output performance. As a function to measure a difference between them, the H∞ norm of the difference system is used. The controller is obtained by minimizing this norm via LMI optimization.
