Abstract :
Simplified methods for predicting radiated emission levels are described and compared. Each of these methods uses simplifying assumptions and does not produce exact solutions to real world problems. Specifically, the following methods are compared in terms of their results, underlying assumptions, and limitations: the classical method, the Cowdell method (1983), the Osburn and White methods (1979), and the Paul and Bush methods (1987). The author concludes by making recommendations to help the reader select and use the most appropriate methods
