Abstract :
Military pilots must be trained to use radar jamming techniques such as range-gate pull-off (RGPO). A key requirement of the training is feedback to the pilot indicating whether the jamming was successful. The level of success of the jamming can be evaluated using both the laws of physics and knowledge of electronic warfare experts. We document the design of a fuzzy logic inferencing system (FIS) that evaluates the success of RGPO jamming and illustrate its operation with measured data. The FIS is implemented as a lookup table to meet the requirements for real-time operation and flexibility
