Abstract :
Virtual simulation environment using dynamic simulator and multi-variable model predictive optimizing control has been developed and applied to the fluid catalyst cracking unit control. Effectiveness of these technologies has been confirmed from the viewpoint of environmental issues, plant-safety and resource-efficiency in all phases of product development over the entire life cycle of the plant. These are based on much experience and knowledge of real plant operation and combined with PCS (process control system) technologies.
