  • Abstract
There are some different traits about the collaborative technological innovation between the core enterprise and general partner among the technological alliance. Based on the Ngo et al (2008), this paper analyzes the innovation cost, the competition level and the co-opetitive relationships from Stackelberg game theoretical approach, and comes to the following conclusions: when the core enterprise competes first, the higher the social responsibility, the less the competitive effort for the core enterprise, and the more the competitive effort for the general partner, and vice versa. When the core enterprise competes first, the competitive effort and social responsibility are substitutes for general partner, while the relationship between the competitive effort and social responsibility depends on social responsibility for core firm. As far as co-opetition concerned, the relationship between the competitive and cooperative effort level are mediated by the social responsibility.
