Abstract
A method is described detailing the holographic recording of stained tissue. The device used to make the holographic recordings as well as the staining procedures, the use of different illuminating wavelengths, and the method of contact recording holography are discussed. Results of this method are presented showing its ability to resolve images of tissue on the cellular level. Conclusions are drawn on the methods applications for basic and clinical medical research.<>
