Abstract
Series active power filter has the characteristics of multi-parameter, nonlinearity, uncertainty, etc. A new harmonic voltage detection method based on instantaneous reactive power theory is proposed in the paper, and a fuzzy-PID control strategy of series active power filter is designed, through combining fuzzy control and traditional PID control. Results from the simulation show that fuzzy-PID control has better control properties. And, the results prove the validity of the new harmonic voltage detection method.
