Abstract
In this paper, we design a building energy management system for integrated management of energy generation, consumption, storing, and trading to maintain balance between energy demand and supply in customer buildings. The term “Transactive Energy” defined by the GridWise is introduced to help clear understanding of the designed system. From the main idea of the Transactive Energy, we design an energy information network and system functions based on EI and EMIX. Finally, we explain how the designed system works on logical energy information networks by showing service invocation procedures between its components.
