Abstract :
The rapid evolution in telecommunication and information technology has made today´s network become more and more heterogeneous and distributed. Such situation has underlined the need to effectively manage network resources and services. In terms of the service management, the demand of rapid and flexible introduction of new services with dynamic management is one important aspect in the environment above mentioned. To satisfy this requirement, this paper propose to fully adopt object-oriented paradigm (OOP) differing from the traditional function-oriented (procedural programming) approach for the development of the intelligent network (IN) with its management. In order to make this management distributed, it should be realized by integration and cooperation between the subcomponents of the network. In the course of development, both the concepts of OOP and two new object-oriented technologies, Java and CORBA are used
