Abstract :
This thesis brings forward a new method to estimate the parameters a and b of non-equidistant GM(1,1) model. It directly calculates the parameters of non-equidistant GM(1,1) model on the basis of Euler formula, which is different from traditional method by constructing the background value. Results from a case study indicates the precision of simulation and prediction by this method is obviously higher. This method is not only suitable in non-equidistant GM(1,1) model, but also in equidistant GM(1,1) model, and has high precision and wide applicability.
