Abstract :
We have found a BEM based on new integral equations for analysis of open waveguide circuits. We call these guided-mode extracted integral equations (GMEIEs). We show the basic idea of GMEIEs and their application to various problems. We discuss the one-port problem under the single-mode condition, go on to look at the corresponding two-port problem, and finish with the two-port problem under two-mode conditions. Other applications are briefly described
