Abstract :
We have discussed the non-essential grey number and grey function in this article. We define some concepts about grey number, such as the whitenization error, absolute degree of greyness and relative degree of greyness of the whitenization value and so on. Using Taylor formula of differential calculus, we analyze the operational problem of degree of greyness. Thus, we obtain a formula for calculating the degree of greyness of the whitenization value of grey function. In this study, we also define the expression of non- essential grey number and grey function. Based on the above calculating formula of the degree of greyness and the expression of a non- essential grey number, we finally build a complete system of the algorithm of non-essential grey number.
