Grey relational evaluation on export ability of China´s high-tech products

In this paper, using the indexes of the export size, export growth rate, export benefit and export structure, we design an evaluation system of high-tech products export. Based on grey relational theory, it evaluates the export ability of China´s high-tech products. The method of cluster analysis is also employed to study the differences among regions. The results show that the export ability of high-tech products in eastern region is far superior to those in central and western regions. Meanwhile, the gap between the eastern and Midwest continues to be widen. However, the high-tech products export in western region grows very fast, which shows much potential for development.
