Abstract :
This paper presents a simple theory model of high impedance surface, and uses the model to explain the phenomena that resonant frequency of high impedance surface rise as transverse area ratio of metal pole and cell becomes larger. Finally, on the base of this model, paper presents a method to extend the bandwidth of high impedance surface restraining surface waves.
