Abstract :
The paper deals with the load testing of frequency converters based on a loading converter, which simulates AC motor properties. In this case, one of important goals is control of phase currents. This goal has been achieved on the basis of proposed discrete-time model of a voltage source inverter. As a result, a time-discrete current controller has been designed. Desirable performance of current control has been confirmed by the experiments.
