Abstract :
Wearable healthcare systems are a promising and topical area, which opens up new potentials in health and fitness. Like any other information and communication technology in its infancy, one of the major problems concerning these systems is the user acceptance. The aim of the paper is to include the notion of user-centered systems design in the context of wearable healthcare systems. Among various factors affecting user acceptance, this paper discusses eleven critical user requirements that wearable healthcare systems should satisfy.
