Abstract :
The aim of this paper is to provide methods for the automatic detection of force adaptation disturbances from recorded kinematic and kinetic signals of periodic hand movements. Two such methods for automatic assessment of periodic kinematic and kinetic hand movement signals are proposed, thereby opening novel ways for automatic assessment of force adaptation quality. Based on their use on a large amount of patient data, their respective merits are then discussed
